Phyllis’ Obituary
Phyllis Audrey Lindstrom was born January 11, 1934 to Thomas and Catherine Banner at Last Lake, Alberta.
Phyllis was a homemaker and a Foster Parent. She enjoyed baking bread, crocheting, and having a houseful of family and friends. Her home was open to anyone and everyone. She always made tea and served lunches which always included her homemade bread.
Phyllis is survived by her 8 children: Marie (Willie) Furstenwerth, Norman (Maureen) Hanson, Jack (Donna) Hanson, George (Eva) Calder, Colleen Calder, Lynne (John) Sundby, Christine Beaudry, and Dianne Lindstrom; sisters, Iona Banner, Jean Lindstrom; and brother Norman Banner; 20 Grandchildren; 41 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
She is pre-deceased by her husbands: Donald Hanson, Alex Calder, Leonard Lindstrom; baby Grace Dianne; sister Eileen Tunke; brother Chester Banner; and sister Hazel Davies.
Phyllis passed away peacefully in her own home surrounded by her loving children, November 29, 2022.
In place of a funeral, a Celebration of Life will he held May 27, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Whitelaw Hall.
