Pauline Gauvin of Miramichi, NB passed away on Sunday December 11, 2022, at Losier Hall at the age of 86. Pauline was born in Newcastle, NB on September 15, 1936, daughter of late Edward and May Ferguson.
Pauline is survived by her daughters; Karen Donovan, Paula Lynch (Michael), Jackie Cortes (James), Charlene Shaddick, eight grandchildren; Devin Donovan (Krista), Brodie Donovan (Maddy), Erin Hambrook, Erica Foran (Tyler), Justin Cortes (Ashley), Jordan Cortes (Tracy), Brady Shaddick (Michelle), Sydney Silliker (Hayden), thirteen special great grandchildren who called her “Gauvin”, Blake, Jack, Blair, Maxx, Jaycob, Chase, Lochlan, Dillon, Jonah, Scottie, Maverick, Truett and Crew, sister, Marjorie Sturdy (Ross) and several nieces, and nephews.
Besides her parents Pauline was predeceased by her husband, Max, sisters: Theresa Underhill, and Edith Stables.
The family would like to extend sincere appreciation to mom’s extended family at Losier Hall especially Flanagan Court. The staff went above and beyond to care for her.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Bell’s Funeral Home 651 King George Highway Miramichi on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 4 PM to 8 PM. Funeral Service for Pauline will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 1 PM from The Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel with Father Peter Aloo officiating. Burial will be held later in the spring at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery.
