It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Noella Marie Helene Tremblay at the Red Deer Hospice, Wednesday Aug 31, 2022 at the age of 65 after a two and a half year battle with pancreatic cancer. Noella was born December 24th, 1956 in Tisdale, Saskatchewan to Olivier and Blanche Tremblay and grew up in Zenon Park, Saskatchewan. Noella married James (Jim) Tremblay on December 27, 1975 and started their family in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and moved to the farm near Bjorkdale, Saskatchewan in 1981 where they raised their family. Her passions were riding and showing Shawnese, her horse of 30 years and raising Katahdin sheep. Other passions included gardening, her flowers (especially roses), camping and spending time with family and friends. Jim and Noella moved to Whitecourt, Alberta in 2003 and settled down in Benalto, Alberta in 2011 where she lived until her passing. Noella enjoyed different jobs throughout her life and worked very hard at everything she did, she could accomplish anything she set her mind to. She was an inspiration to go after what you want and never give up no matter what the circumstances. Those who knew and loved Noella remember her generous spirit, fun-loving, goofy side, her cooking and baking and her love of family gatherings. Her Catholic faith grew stronger with time and was a very important part of her life. She will be greatly missed and is survived by her husband Jim, son Chris (Tammy) Tremblay of Saskatoon, daughters Michelle (John) Harty of Red Deer, Mandy (Jason) Goy of Porcupine Plain and Jodie (George) Bradley of Bentley, her grandchildren Garret Genaille, Kiana Tremblay, Anniah and Adlee Goy and step-grandchildren Tanaya, Adrianna and Mya Harty. As well as her siblings Paul (Lynda) Tremblay, Gilbert Tremblay, Delia Lavigne, and Alex (Wendy) Tremblay as well numerous family members and dear friends. Noella was predeceased by her parents Olivier and Blanche, her sister Joanne and her brothers Andre and Leo. A Celebration of Life for Noella will be held at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Tisdale Saskatchewan at 1102 103 Ave, Tisdale SK on Saturday September 10th at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Noella’s honour may be made directly to the Red Deer Hospice Society at www.RedDeerhospice.com
