Obituary
It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce Nathalie Snyder has passed away peacefully surrounded by family and dear friends on October 5th, 2022 at Moog & Friends Hospice in Penticton after a long courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her loving family: husband (Tom), sons Robert (Trish), Jason (Cinthia), Riley (Brittni) and Kris (Amanda). She is fondly missed by her brothers Pierre (Erin), Gillen (Nancy) and pre-deceased by her loving mom René and dear sister Corinne. Nathalie is remembered by her 6 grandchildren (Alyshia, Tristan, Kendra, Aiden, Abrielle and Kaitlyn).
Nathalie was born in Bordeaux, France on April 1st, 1955. She moved to Canada with family in 1958 and called it home ever since. She spent a number of years working in the family restaurant (Stonehouse Inn, Summerland) before finally moving on to a career at the Penticton Lakeside Resort where she remained for 35+ years. Nathalie loved music, she loved to travel but most of all she loved sharing a glass of wine amongst family and friends.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Moog & Friends Hospice for their compassionate care.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Penticton Lakeside Resort (Salon D) on November 12th, 2022 @ 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Moog & Friends Hospice.
