Murray L Arnold 2022 avis de deces

Murray L. Arnold died suddenly, Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 75 years of age. Beloved husband of 54 wonderful years to Lynda (Taylor), loving father to Tim (Tracie Tino), Laurie (Paul Helesic), Amy (Réal LeClerc), proud grandfather (“Papa”) to Alyshia (Travis DeWolfe), Ryan, Tyler, Kyle, Taylor (Jen) and Nate, adoring great grandfather to Lydia, and brother to Keith. He will be missed by many friends and family.
Predeceased by his parents, Grace and Irwin Arnold, Murray was born in Windsor, Ontario, graduated from Kennedy Collegiate, then from the Business Administration program at St. Clair College. He started his career with Chrysler and retired in 2002 from their advertising agency Ross Roy Communications / BBDO.
After retiring, Murray and Lynda moved to their cottage on Oxbow Lake near Huntsville, where they enjoyed time with family and friends. Murray dedicated himself to the community, joining the Lake of Bays Fire Station 50 as a volunteer in 2003, retiring from the role of Acting Captain after 12 years. He was an active church member in Windsor at Westminster United Church, then Trinity United Church in Huntsville, serving on their Boards in a variety of capacities and singing in the choir. He also volunteered with Huntsville Meals on Wheels as a Board member and driver for many years and served on the Lake of Bays Township Councilor’s Advisory Committee.
Murray was a classic car enthusiast and enjoyed cruising the roads of Lake of Bays and Huntsville in his red 1968 Chrysler 300 convertible – bought in memory of the year he and Lynda were married. A history buff and passionate reader, he also enjoyed riding with his “Riders of the Limberlost” ATV gang, sunset pontoon cruises on Oxbow, and travelling the world with Lynda.
One of his greatest pleasures was being together with family, enjoying their interactions and humor. He was always ready to take the grandchildren cliff jumping, waterskiing or tubing around the lake. Family was his greatest sense of pride.
He “died with his boots on” and got his wish to “go out like a light.” It was just ten years too soon.
Special thanks are extended to 911 Dispatch, EMS, Fire and OPP Responders for their efforts and compassionate support to our family on this difficult day.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Trinity United Church Huntsville or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
Service arrangement details will be available on this page in the coming days.

Nous offrons nos plus sincères condoléances à la famille et aux amis de Murray L Arnold 2022 et espérons que leur souvenir pourra être une source de réconfort pendant cette période difficile. Vos pensées et vos mots aimables sont grandement appréciés.
