It is with great sorrow but so much love that we mourn the passing of Milan Zic on
September 20th of 2022 in Maple Ridge, BC.
Born on July 12, 1952, in Croatia, Milan came to Canada during the early 1970s to
make his dreams a reality and to one day start a family. He loved sharing his
collection of fascinating stories about his experiences, whether it was his time in the
military, as a fisherman, a heavy-duty mechanic, and much more. The best part was
that he almost always had something hilarious to add, and loved to make people
laugh. Milan was also considered by many as someone with a strong work ethic and
preferred taking a pragmatic approach to things. He was always there to give a
helping hand and would go the extra mile to make sure that the job was done right.
The love and memory of Milan will remain eternal by the many people whose lives
he touched. Thank you for being such a great father, a great person, and an
absolute legend!
