Passed away suddenly at St. Mary’s Hospital,
Kitchener on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at the age of 64.
Beloved husband and best friend to Diane (nee Young) for 47 years.
Loving father to Kenny (Sharon), Kimberly (Dale) and twins
Stephanie (Jon) and Stacie (Tony). Cherished Papa to
Madison, Ethan, Kaylin, Zakk, Johnathon, Liam, Abigail, Cassidy,
Natalie, Halie, Savannah and the late Michael John. Dear brother of
Colin (Ronnie) of Manitoba and Jonathan (Deb) of England. Much loved
son of the late John Harris. Mike was a long-time master electrician.
He loved listening to music, working on his car, as well as sitting in
his yard, watching the hummingbirds while drinking tea with his wife
and spending time with his dogs. Mike will be fondly remembered by
many family and friends. The family extends a special thank
you to Dr. Burke and the incredible nurses at the Dialysis Centre in
Guelph; as well as to the team of doctors and nurses on the CVICU at
St. Mary’s Hospital. Cremation has taken place. A private
graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Parkon September
10, 2022. Arrangements entrusted to GILCHRIST
