Metro Starchuk
On February 28, 2022, Metro Starchuk of Waskatenau, Alberta passed away at the age of 86 years. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lillian; two sons, Brian (Kelly) and Lauren (Carmel); eight grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; one brother, Alex; and two sisters, Mary and Victoria. Metro is predeceased by his parents; son, Gary; four brothers, John, Steve, Nick and Bill; and sister, Doris.
Funeral Service Friday, March 4, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Waskatenau Community Centre, 5104 – 50 Street, Waskatenau. Right Reverend Alexandre Palamarchuk and Reverend Father Michael Maranchuk officiating with interment in St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Box 407, Waskatenau, AB, T0A 3P0.
