Meleme LeBlanc
1951-2022
KOUCHIBOUGUAC, NB – Meleme LeBlanc, 70, of
Kouchibouguac passed away peacefully at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent
Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, on Saturday, June
4th, 2022. Born in Claire Fontaine, he was the
son of the late Adolphe and Maria (Doucet) LeBlanc. Before retiring,
Meleme worked as a woodsman and a fisherman.
Meleme leaves to mourn his loving wife, Domine (Vautour)
LeBlanc of Kouchibouguac; his daughter, Marianne LeBlanc (Joel Parent)
of Kouchibouguac; as well as his newborn grandson,
Owen.
Meleme will also be sadly missed by his five sisters, Justine
Melanson (Thomas) of Sainte-Anne, Suzanne LeBlanc (Arnel Vautour) of
Moncton, Clara LeBlanc (Denis Boucher) of Jardineville, Semida Stewart
(Eldon) of Saint-Louis and Jeanine LeBlanc (Alfred Hebert) of
Kouchibouguac; his three brothers, Emile (Aline Stewart) of
Saint-Louis, Firmin of Kouchibouguac and Armand (Yvette Robichaud) of
Calgary, AB; his sister-in-law, Yvette LeBlanc of Rexton; as well as
by his many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Meleme was predeceased by his brother,
Celime.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Memorial
Home, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Wednesday from 7-9 pm and Thursday from
9:00 am until departure for the funeral. A funeral mass will be
celebrated on Thursday, June 9th, 2022 at 11:00
am, Saint-Louis-des-Français Roman Catholic Church,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent.
