SQUIRES, Mary (Martret) (age 90 years)
God has called our precious Angel home. Predeceased by her parents Gus and Mary Martret; Her husband Bill (Bumper); great grandson: Jaycee Fleming; brothers: Joe (Mary), Gus (Marie); sisters: Esther McQue (Frank), Shirl Clancey (Pat), Violet Moore (Jack), Florence Smith (Jim).
Leaving to mourn her son Johnny (Linda); granddaughter, Tina Klenke (Jeff); great-grandchildren: Sara Klenke and Kyle Klenke; granddaughter, Maryann Fleming (Jason Fleming); great-grandchildren: Mary Fleming and Jackson Fleming; great great-grandson, Jude Fleming; granddaughter, Bobbi Jo Squires (Jeff McNeil); great-granddaughter, Madison Senyk. Who all reside in Alberta.
Mary’s Newfoundland family consist of a large family of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great-nieces and nephews who all loved her dearly!
Special thank you to the staff at Alderwood Estates and Chancellor Park for the amazing love and care they provided for Mary over the years.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 22 at 2:00 PM from Caul’s Chapel, 84 LeMarchant Road, St. John’s. For those who wish to attend virtually, please follow the link: vimeo.com/event/2435862. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery on Topsail Road.
A celebration of her life will follow at the home of her niece, Regina (Genie). Please bring your precious memories and be prepared to celebrate Mary’s amazing life and the last of her generation all back together in heaven.
