Marjorie Lois Sparrow
February 14, 1945 – August 29, 2022
Marjorie Lois Sparrow of Strasbourg Sk. passed away peacefully on August 29, 2022. Marjorie fought a courageous battle against cancer for several years. She was predeceased by her loving husband Heath in 2012 and leaves to mourn her daughter Tammy and her son Jason. Marjorie grew up in Edmonton where she met and married Heath Sparrow in 1968. They later moved to Bulyea Sk. to farm where Marjorie had a large vegetable and flower garden. She also helped in raising chickens and cattle on their mixed farm. Marjorie loved canning and preserving as well as preparing delicious meals with the vegetables she grew with such dedication. In 1988, Marjorie and Heath moved to an acreage where they stayed until they moved again in 2007 to Strasbourg. She loved her regular coffee dates with her friends in Strasbourg and her cat Mocha was a constant companion until her last days. Marjorie was lovingly cared for by the devoted staff at the Last Mountain Pioneer Home in Strasbourg. She was very loved and will be missed. A private family interment will take place with a public memorial service at a later date which will be announced.
