DEKRUYF, Marion Jean
Peacefully at the Willett Hospital in Paris on Saturday,
October 29th, 2022 Marion (Gibson) DeKruyf
passed away in her 94th year. Beloved
wife of the late Gerry DeKruyf (1999). Loving and caring
mother to Barbara Brooks and the late Tony (2022) of Guelph, Bill
(Ruby) of Calgary, and Stephen (Joyce) of Burford. Loving
Grandma of Justin Brooks (Christa), Geoffrey Brooks, Katie Zuber
(Cameron), Kristen DeKruyf (Josh Rempel), and loving Oma to Kelly
Leppard (Dustin), Daryl DeKruyf (Lauren). Proud
Great-Grandma of Connor Brooks, Declan & Evelyn Brooks and
Finn & Cohen Leppard. Dear sister of the late
George, Alan and Barbara Gibson.
Marion was employed by Bell Canada as an operator for 27
years. She was an active member of Rundle Chapter #108,
servicing as Matron in (1987-88 & 2001-02) and District Deputy
Grand Matron (2004-05), Grand Representative of Idaho in Ontario and a
member of the Order of Amaranth Heritage Court No. 13.
Friends may call at the Gilchrist Chapel-McIntyre &
Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi St. Guelph on Monday, November 7,
2022. An Eastern Star Memorial Service will be held at
12:45, with Visitation from 11:00-12:30, followed by the funeral
service at 1:00. Reception in the Trillium Room at the
Funeral Home. Private Family Interment at Crown
Cemetery.

Hospital or any charity of your choice would be greatly
appreciated.
