Marie-Rose «Rosée» Cormier
1926-2022
Rosée Cormier, 96, of Saint-Antoine, passed away peacefully,
surrounded by her family at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital,
Sainte-Anne-de-Kent on Wednesday December 21, 2022. She was married
to the late Léandre Cormier (2011). Born in Saint-Antoine, she
was the daughter of the late Adolphe and the late Ida (LeBlanc)
Cormier.
She will be sadly missed by her four children; Norma Cormier
(René), Zénon «Sam» (Thérèse), Claude of
Saint-Antoine, Marc (Gina) of Saint-Damien, her eleven grandchildren,
fifteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. She
also leaves to mourn her three sisters; Odette Cormier, Zella Robinson
of Saint-Antoine, Anne-Marie Girouard (Aurèle) of
Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, her three brothers; Hervé (Marie),
Léo-Paul (Alfreda) of Saint-Antoine, René (Ernestine) of
Moncton and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one son Ronald, one sister; Diana and four
brothers; Ulysse, Léonard, Arice and Marc.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Roman
Catholic Church, Saint-Antoine on Monday December 26, 2022 from 2:00
pm to 4:00 pm and 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm. A funeral Mass will be
celebrated at the Saint-Antoine Church on Monday December 26, 2022 at
7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
In Rosée’s memory donations may be made to the Stella Maris
de Kent Hospital Foundation.
