Marco Brillant (September 23, 1975 – December 21, 2022)
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Marco “Haywire” Brillant at the age of 47. Loving son of Robert and Suzanne and cherished brother of Mario. Grandparents Xavier Brillant (pre-deceased) and Simone Brillant; Amédé Wafer (pre-deceased), Jeanne Langlois (Delarosbil) (pre-deceased) and Norbert Langlois. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons Shawn and Niko (mother Lacey) and his grandchildren Landon and Carter. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and his special nieces (Zoë, Mikaëla and Zara) as well as his nephew Xavier Marco Martin Brillant.
Marco was an extremely proud flourmill boy who graduated top of class from the School of Hard Knocks. His passion for speed and adrenaline were only matched by the size of his heart and the love he had for his family and friends. With a larger than life personality and enough charisma to charm a snake, Marco was a fearless and loyal street “soldier” who had all his brothers and sisters’ backs. He was an incredibly generous man who loved to help those in need and would literally give the hoodie off his back to someone he loved. Since he was a kid, Marco loved making people laugh and had a contagious smile. He was especially proud of the fact he still had all his chiclets despite a few run ins over the years. People generally knew him for his numerous motorcycle and automobile adventures however those that only met him later in life were not aware of his true talent. At an early age, “Number 17” spent countless hours on the O’Connor outdoor rink perfecting his skating and shooting. He quickly transitioned from playground hockey to “AAA” where he went on to score hundreds of top corner goals. Marco was especially happy when surrounded by family members and friends as he enjoyed laughter, the odd shot of Jack’s and most recently, fireworks (Fire in the Hole!!!). Brother, your engine redlined far too early but one thing is for sure, you left nobody indifferent and your memory will never be forgotten. Rest easy “Haywire”.
