Obituary For Lorraine Leona Krause
On Thursday, August 25, 2022, our mom was taken to her mansion in glory. Lorraine passed away at Mackenzie Place in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 89.
Lorraine Leona (Wall) Krause was born on August 12, 1933, in Hepburn, SK., to Henry and Sarah Wall. She married Jacob Krause on July 18, 1952.
She is survived by her children: Gerald (Carey) Krause, Mervin (Ellen) Krause, Eugene (Karin) Krause, Robert (Judy) Krause, Annabelle Screpnek, Gloria (David) Forseth, Harvey (Rhonda) Krause, Patricia (Garth) Aldred, Marilyn (Jarrod) Thomas, Timothy Krause, Ginger Kary Krause, Vicky Kary and Bev Larsen; 52 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren; her sister Rosella Buhr (Victor); brothers and sisters in-law; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Jacob Krause; her grandchildren: Emily Braim, Jericho and Nazereth Forseth, Justin Krause; and son in-law James Screpnek.
A viewing and gathering will take place on Sunday, August 28, 2022, from 6:00-8:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022, at 11:00am, at Oliver’s Funeral Home. Interment to follow at the Grande Prairie Cemetery (84th Ave. and 112th St.).
