Obituary
Indoe, Lindy, passed away at the Southampton Hospital on Saturday October 15, 2022 at the age of 77. Dear companion of Joanne Robbins. Proud father of Jason and Shawn and grandfather of Maya Steele-Indoe. Fondly remembered by Joanne’s family, Bill (Jody), Mandy (Chris), and Abby, Bassie, and Davey. Dear brother to Jane Studt and Carole Bowers (Bill), and brother-in-law to Carol Indoe.
Predeceased by his parents, Harold and Blanche Indoe; brothers, Gerald and Ben, brother-in-law, Tom Studt, sister-in-law, Annie Indoe-Linn, and nephews Pete, Tim, and Benny. Uncle “Ding” will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Lindy was very proud of his Metis Heritage. He had a lengthy career as an industrial Painter and EPSCA Chief Steward. He was a proud member of Local Union 1590. Lindy always enjoyed having a good time with family and friends, either partying, dancing, or just even visiting, while having some cold beer.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the Southampton Legion on Saturday October 22, 2022 from 4p.m.–9p.m.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to GC Huston Breakfast Program. Lindy always made sure everyone had food to eat, especially kids. Donations can be made through Eagleson Funeral Home by cash or cheque (made out to GC Huston), donations will be received at the Legion on Saturday October 22 from 4pm-5:30pm
