Putting love of family and friends above all else, she was passionate about travel, food, fashion, and fun. Being an RCAF officer’s wife afforded her the opportunity for all of her passionate pursuits. Upon her husband‘s retirement from the Air Force she entered the workforce full-time at age 50. For the next 21 years she worked as a material manager and bookkeeper for the American Defense Logistics Agency in Ottawa, where she derived much pleasure in meeting American dignitaries such as Presidents Reagan and Clinton and their wives. A woman who always looked and acted years younger than her chronological age, Linda Meyer has been an inspiration and example to all of one who has lived life to the fullest.
