Lewis Maxwell Eldridge

Surrounded by the love
of his favorite women, the strongest man we know lost his long hard
fight. Dad is survived by his bride of 64 years, Joan; His 4
daughters, Susan (Scott) Jenkins, Debbie Lavigne (Ken Miles), Cathy
McMahon (David Diloretto), Luanne Magnifico (Danny Magnifico 2022);
Grandchildren, Christopher Jenkins (Elizabeth), Michael Jenkins
(Kate), Ryan Lavigne (Kaylyn Dobbie), Nathan McMahon , Matthew McMahon
, Jason McMahon (Ashbelle Santana ), Kailyn Magnifico (Tyler Osborne),
Ethan Magnifico (Serra Thompson); Great grandchildren, Ryder Jenkins,
Bella Jenkins, Sophie Jenkins, Levi Jenkins and Garrett McMahon,
Rayanna Dobbie. Predeceased by his son, Lewis Maxwell
Eldridge JR. (1967)and son in law, Daniel Magnifico (2022).
Dad had many brothers, but only 1 sister, Donna Cluett. We
are very thankful that Donna was able to spend the last two weeks with
dad. She was his favorite sister.
Mom and Dad enjoyed
many years traveling across North America, from Vancouver to
Newfoundland and Alaska to Miami. Sharing many stories when
they returned home, always their favorite
place.
We’ll miss
seeing dad, sitting in his yellow chair, on the front
porch.
A huge Thank you is
extended to the 6th floor staff at University Hospital,
Dad’s home for the last 10 weeks. He enjoyed
chatting with all of you.
Cremation has taken
place with a private family service, where
Evans Funeral Home,

A tree will be planted, by the Evans Funeral Home,
as a living memorial to Mr. Eldridge
