Leona Mary Brown (Madigan)
of Kenilworth passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Jim Brown (2002). Loving mother of Geraldine Frampton of Elora, Ed and Christine Brown of Cambridge, Ambrose and Brenda Brown of Arthur, Pat Brown of Kenilworth, Betty and Mike Whitwell of Timmins and Helen Brown and Greg Watt of Mallorytown. Cherished grandmother of Sarah and Blake Wientge, Travis Frampton and Eric Weichel; Mike Brown, Ben Brown, Aiden Brown; Clara and Rod Monk, Jim and Andrea Brown, Kevin and Sherri Brown, Mark and Cindy Brown, Luke and Lindsay Brown, Kaitlin Brown and her fiancé Julian Lichty; Paige and Phil Levis, Tessa McCormick and her fiancé Derrik Bedard; Isaac Watt, Simon Watt. Dearest great grandmother of Madigan, Kinley, Joao, Avery, Lexi, Jessi, Sawyer, Finnigan, Hank, Jett, Mark, Owen, Liam, Kaylee, Ahneka, Shyla, Mackenna, Deacon and London. Sister-in-law of Theresa O’Donnell. Fondly remembered by her extended family, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by her parents James and Gladys Madigan her sister, Sister Geraldine and by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Gerald Brown, Mary and Ed Kensy, Betty and Ernie Heffernan, Rose and Jim O’Donnell and Laverne O’Donnell.
The family is so thankful that mom passed peacefully at her home. Leona moved to the 4th of Arthur Township at the age of 3 and has lived there for 88 years. She always said “God Bless” to you, now we say “God Bless” to you Mom.
Visitation will be held at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, Arthur on Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Kenilworth on Friday, December 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Spring interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy donations to Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Kenilworth would be appreciated by the family.
