Obituary of Len Freeman
Ralph Leonard (Len) Freeman
Peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side, on his birthday, Monday, December 5, 2022, Len Freeman of Glanworth at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband for 56 years of the late June Freeman (2019). Loving and respected father of Jo Ann and the late Fred Marlatt (2018) of Calgary, Laurie and Jeff Zander of Rodney, Julie Freeman of Mexico, Jerome Freeman and Christine Boucher of Dundas, Jill and Dan Bolonga of Manitoulin Island, Valerie Stewart and the late Dave Moss (2010), Ronald (Sam) Stewart and Tracey Connolly, and Glen and Tracy Freeman all of London. Predeceased by his children, infants Ricky and Ralph Freeman, James Freeman (1997), Jeffrey Freeman (1971), John Freeman (1975) and his wife Joan Freeman (Burditt) (1962) and his daughter-in-law Angela Stewart (2017). Also predeceased by his brothers Frederick and Harry Freeman and his sister Edith Baetz. Proud grandpa of 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive.
Relatives and friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road South, London, Ontario (519) 652-2020 on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. where the celebration of Len’s life will follow on, Friday, December 9, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Don Macpherson and Reverend Rob Henderson officiating.
