LaRose, Leonard Henry ‘Len”
December 3, 1922 – December 23, 2022
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Len at the age of 100 years old.
He is lovingly remembered by his children: Len (Sheila) LaRose, Donna (David) Swerhun; grandchildren: Karen (Darren) Girard, Jonathan (Alex) LaRose, Alanna (Colin) LaRose, Matthew (Amanda) LaRose and Ryan LaRose; great grandchildren: Cayley (Cameron) Girard, Lane Girard, Alexander LaRose, Hudson Girard, Isabelle LaRose; granddogs: Sprocket, Maggie Mae; brother: Eugene (Stella) LaRose; sisters-in-law, Vicky LaRose, Helen LaRose, as well as numerous relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by first and second wives, Alberta and Irene LaRose, three brothers; one sister and his parents, Frederick and Esther LaRose.
Being 100 years old Len was very active, he loved gardening, fishing, playing crib and spending time with his family, his goal was to make it to his 100th Birthday, which he succeeded by 20 days.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday January 2, 2023 at Westlock Funeral Home, with Interment to follow at Westlock Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SCARS Animal Rescue or to the Hazel Bluff United Church
