Obituary
HAMMOND, Lawrence “Eric” – 57 of Jordan Branch, passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, December 21st, 2022. He was a son of Helen Irene Hammond (Acker) and the late Osborne Mackenzie Hammond.
Eric was liked by many for his sense of humour, his personality and his kind heart. He had an understanding mind and would help anybody in need. He enjoyed fishing (which was his livelihood) and hunting. Eric enjoyed learning any new task. He enjoyed time spent with loved ones, and he took great joy in being there for his daughter and grandchildren. He was a hard worker and wanted any task to be done with pride and done the right way.
His love for his wife was unconditional. Their time spent together was pure and strong.
Eric is survived by his wife Lisa; daughter, Shannon; grandchildren; Raivyn, Dericah and Eric Halian, his mother Helen (Webb), three sisters; Joye Hammond, Shelly Hammond and Barbara Hamilton. Brothers; Churchill, Kevin, Kimball and Arnold. Mother-in-law, Sally d’Entremont, Father-in-law, Jim d’Entremont.
Besides his father Osborne Hammond he was predeceased by his niece, Theresa Hammond.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne. A Memorial Service will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Eric may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. On-line condolences may be left for the family at www.huskilson.net
