On Friday, September 9, 2022, Guenther Kottke, formerly of Bruderheim, Alberta, passed away peacefully at the Lamont Healthcare Centre at the age of 90 years.
He is survived by his children Charlotte (Gary) Roch, Angela (Manfred) Gross and Armin (Dyanne) Kottke: grandchildren Alicia Gross, Lyndon (Dana), Jason and Jessica Roch; great- granddaughter Sarah Roch, sisters Wilma Sabo and Elsie (Marvin) Bartz also numerous family and friends.
Guenther is predeceased by his wife Caroline, married 61 years, parents, sister Christel, brother Emil, and grandsons, Matthew and Aaron Gross.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 17 at 3 PM at the Bruderheim Community Church (4904 Queen Street Bruderheim) with Pastor Wayne Larson officiating.
Inurnment will follow in the Bruderheim Moravian Church Cemetery. Donation in memory of Guenther may be made to a charity of your choice. The family wish to express their profound appreciation to Dr. Mgbor and the staff of the Morley Young Manor, Lamont Homecare and Lamont Healthcare Centre for their excellent care of Guenther over the past years.
