On Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022, at
Hospice House in Fredericton, Kimberly Mahar of Nashwaaksis passed
away at the age of 56 surrounded by her family.
She was employed at the Victory Meat Market as a meat
wrapper. Kim loved music, especially Travis Tritt, and loved to lay
out at the beach any chance she could get.
She is survived by her mother, Anne Flinn of Marysville,
daughter, Melissa (Scott) Gallant of Moncton NB, son, Brandon Richard
of Moncton NB, sister, Maureen Flinn of Nashwaaksis, brothers, Scott
(Rebecca) Flinn of Marysville, John (Barb) Flinn of Taymouth, and Dean
Furlotte of USA, as well as numerous aunts and uncles. Her special
friends, Sean « Ralph » MacFarlane, Lee Canney, and Chuck
Leus, and her Victory Meat Market Family.
She was predeceased by her father, John Furlotte
(biological), father, John « Mickey » Flinn, sister Joyce
Hazelwood, brother Larry Flinn, and granddaughter Samara
McLaughlin.
A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Hospice House
in Fredericton for taking such loving care of Kim during her last
month of life.
There will be a funeral service on Monday, February
7th, 2022, at 2PM from Bishop’s
Funeral Home Chapel, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton NB, with Father
Bill Brennan officiating. For those unable to attend, there will be a
livestreaming option available through Kim’s obituary at
www.bishopsfuneralhome.com.
