It is with sadness we announce the
passing of Kenneth Joseph Pollock, 91
years of Oxford, on Friday, December 2, 2022 in the East Cumberland
Lodge, Pugwash, NS.
Born in Calgary, Alberta, he was a son
of the late Joseph and Julia (Bystrykoski) Pollock.
Ken was a volunteer at his church in
Calgary, and in Oxford. He had a lifelong love of trains and
loved traveling by train. He had a witty personality, and
always loved a good joke. He was a member of the Oxford
Heritage Club.
He is survived by a daughter Christal
MacKinnon and his granddaughter Cassandra, both of Calgary,
AB.
He was predeceased by his wife Alice M.
Pollock in April of this year.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the
W. Allen Funeral Home, 60 Water Street,
Oxford, NS (902-447-2167) where visiting hours will take place on
Wednesday from 10 am until 11 am, followed immediately at 11 am by his
funeral service, Lawry McLeod officiating. Burial will
follow in the Fairhaven Memorial Gardens, Moncton, NB.
