Obituary
THIRSK
Mr. Kenneth Douglas Thirsk of Winfield, Alberta passed away on Tuesday November 29, 2022, in the Centennial Centre for Mental Health in Ponoka, Alberta at the age of 86 after a four-year battle with dementia.
Ken will be missed by his loving partner Betty, his children, Sharon and Shane Pye of Buck Creek, Alberta, Robert and Tammy Thirsk of Drayton Valley, Alberta, stepdaughter Linda, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Kenneth also leaves to mourn four sisters, Barb Hughes of Quesnel, BC., Diane and William Dutchak of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Sheila and Ernie Dumka of Sherwood Park and Cindy Cescon of Calgary.
At Ken’s request there will not be any services. Cremation has taken place and interment of Ken’s cremated remains will take place at a later date in Quesnel, British Columbia.
