Ken retired from Bell Canada as Field Services Manager with 34 distinguished years of service before beginning his second career driving school bus for 11 years. He loved to travel and enjoyed many trips near and far with his wife Linda, family and friends. Ken was an extremely active volunteer in the community coaching ladies and youth fastball teams. He was District Commissioner for the Boy Scouts, member of the Owen Sound Power & Sailing Squadron, Volunteer for Meals on Wheels, active member of the Rose-lawn bowling club and a passionate member of several choirs at First United Church. Ken was an avid sports enthusiast enjoying all sports, particularly playing and watching fastball games. He was a super fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and Maple Leafs but his favourite was the Owen Sound Attack. Ken and Linda held season tickets for over 20 years and never missed the Attack games on TV or radio. Ken also loved camping and social gatherings with family and friends. We will miss his witty conversations, laugh and infectious smile. He was a precious gift to anyone who knew him and we are so grateful for his presence in our lives.
