Joseph F. Richard (UPDATED)
1927-2022
SAINT-IGNACE, NB – Joseph F. Richard 94, of
Saint-Ignace, NB passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria in
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Born in
Saint-Ignace, he was the son of the late Fidèle Richard and
late Marie (Richard) Richard.
Joseph will be remembered as a kind man, lovable and very
reserved. He loved the farm, working in the woods and was very
knowledgeable in automobile mechanics. He also worked for CN
Rail.
Joseph will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Yvonne
Richard; one daughter, Anne-Marie Richard (Adelard) of St-Ignace; two
sons, Omer Richard, Gilles Richard both of St. Ignace and one
grandson, Alain (Tammy) of Moncton.
She is also survived by one adopted sister, Angela Guay of
Montreal and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Emma
Bonnevie, Regina Robichaud; one brother, Armand and one adopted
brother, Emile Arsenault.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A funeral
mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 20th, 2022 at 11:00am, St.
Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Ignace.
