Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Jeffrey Harris Aucoin of Cherry Valley, Ontario announce his passing on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022, at the age of 48 years. Jeff is predeceased by his father Lawrence Aucoin, grandparents Walter and Cecilia Aucoin, grandparents Harris and Kathleen Pilgrim, his Uncle Cliff Aucoin, Aunt Elaine Walsh and Uncle Ron Pilgrim and cousin Sheldon Pilgrim. He leaves to mourn with many loving memories: Mother Elizabeth Pilgrim, brother Tim Aucoin, Sister-in-law Sarah Aucoin, niece Riley Aucoin and nephew John Aucoin and a large circle of relatives and friends.
Jeff was a quiet and beautiful soul. He was a kind and caring friend. He loved the outdoors and all it had to offer, from the Rocky mountains to the shores of Atlantic Canada. He especially loved the time he spent with his father Larry, hunting, fishing and camping. Jeff spent many years playing competitive baseball and hockey as a child, and as an adult he gave back to the sport he loved by coaching minor hockey. He continued throughout his life, to be an avid sports fan. Jeff loved working as a courier in Belleville, Ontario. He will be deeply missed by his work colleagues and circle of friends. He was very proud of his Newfoundland heritage and dreamed of someday retiring to his beloved Newfoundland.
The family will be having a private service in Stephenville NFLD. We will always treasure the time we had with you. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to the charity of your choice.
