It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Jean Manning of Lawn announces her passing. Jean passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Saturday, October 15th, 2022, at the age of 76. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband, Alphonse Manning of 54 years; sons, Joe and Jason (Angela); daughters, Lori Strang (John) and Jennifer Tobin(Jamie);grandchildren, Kellee, Jack, Rownen, Cleary, Hayley, Aidan, and Charlie; sister, Marie Winter; brother, Alonzo Kelly (Daphne); brother-in-law, Howard Easton; plus a large circle of extended family and friends. Jean was predeceased by parents, Jeremiah and Estella Kelly; parents-in-law, Joseph and Celeste Manning; sisters, Adelaide (Baxter) George and Leone Easton; A special Thank-You to her homecare workers, Cynthia, Elizabeth, Montana, and Ruby.
The Manning Family will be accepting visitors at Holy Name of Jesus R.C. Church, Lawn on
Wednesday, October 19th, 2022
from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Funeral mass will take place at Holy Name of Jesus R.C. Church, Lawn on Thursday, October 20th, 2022 at 2:30.
In Jean’s memory, donations can be made to Holy name of Mary Academy Breakfast Program or flowers gratefully accepted.
