Obituary
Hearne, James Neil «Jim» of Madawaska, ON, formerly of Oshawa and Bowmanville, former Owner/Operator of Jim’s Tire Service. In the early evening of May 10, 2022 in his 80th year, the final chapter of Jim’s Adventure came to a close with Jim reuniting with Lorraine (nee Hilderbrandt), his late wife of 57 years. Although he left this world peacefully, you can bet he skidded into Heaven sideways with his halo tilted and perhaps even a little crinkled.
Jim is survived by his children Ron (Bobbie-Lynn Wilson), Dianne Florent (Andreas Hill), Janet Borutski (Reg), and Ryan (Janice Gallwey); grandchildren Brandy, Courtney and Jordan Hearne, Tom Florent (Laura), Hunter Florent, Dakota Borutski (Lizz), Rosalie Hearne and Kayla and Mak Nelson; great-grandchildren Ryleigh Hearne, Reggie and Audrey Borutski and Maverick Florent. Also survived by brother John (Sheila), step-brothers Glen (Heather) Cooper, Gary (Michele) Cooper and Wayne (Sandy) Cooper as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a private family burial. At Jim’s request there will be no funeral service but a celebration of his life will be on Saturday July 30th at the Madawaska Community Hall at 26A Major Lake Rd in Madawaska. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider making a donation to the Madawaska Valley Hospice Palliative Care in Barry’s Bay.
