Croken – The
death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday,
February 17, 2022, of James «Jim» Croken, of Summerside,
aged 75 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late Margaret
(MacDonald) Croken DesRoches and Walter D. Croken. Survived and dearly
missed by his partner Jean Marchand; children Michael Croken (Tara
Malone) and Blair (Tracey) Croken; grandchildren Scott Nantes and Ryan
Croken; great-grandson Jensen; sisters Maureen Croken (Brendan
MacDonald), Janet Croken and Bernie Croken-Pricop (Dan Pricop);
brothers Allan and Eugene Croken; special uncles Allan (Leona) and D.
Alex MacDonald; and many good friends; and by special friend Sandra
Peters. Predeceased by the mother of his children, Joanne Cormier and
his brother Francis (Kim) Croken. Resting at Moase Funeral Home,
Summerside. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul’s
Church, Summerside. No visiting hours by personal request. Interment
later in St. Paul’s Cemetery, followed by Celebration of
life Summerside. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society
would be appreciated.
