It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Henrich Rafael, Holocaust survivor in the early morning of Monday, February 21st,2022.
He was born in Romania on November 11th, 1928 and was a devoted husband of the late Eugenia Rafael. He was a very loving father to his son Tom and his wife Kathy Rafael, and his daughter Erica and her husband Abraham Guterman. Loving grandfather (Papa) to Andrea and her husband Bryan, Aliza and her husband Jordan, Karen and her husband Craig, and Mark. Loving great grandfather to Mason, Sam, Gavin, Adam, Blake and Spencer. He will be greatly missed by his long time companion Lidia Gaspar. A private graveside funeral will be held at Pardes Shalom Cemetery. The family will be observing Shiva privately.
