Surrounded
by her loving family, we are saddened to announce the passing of
Heather Golding of Island View NB at her home on June
20th, 2022, at the age of 61. She was
a daughter of the late George and Beatrice (Brewer)
Buchanan.
She
will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her husband of 40
years Charles «Charlie» Golding, daughters; Andrea Howell
(Timothy Bamford), Ashlyn Patterson (David) and Trestan
Golding. 5 grandchildren; Charlie Ann, Sloan, Sawyer, Oakley
and Rhett. Sisters and brother; Janette, Bonnie, Tracey, and
Kevin. As well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She
was predeceased by a sister Patricia and a brother Raymond.
Heather will be immensely missed by her loving dog
«poppy».
Heather
was employed a the Provincial Forestry Nursery in Kingsclear for 30
years. One of Heather’s great passions was
candlepin bowling. She participated in many tournaments,
including the Ladies provincials where she truly enjoyed the
comradeship as well as the competition. She genuinely loved
all her grandchildren and spending time with all family
members.
The
family wishes to thank Heather’s Palliative care doctors (Dr
Cameron), extra Mural Nurses (Gwen), Respiratory Therapists and
homecare worker (Norma). Also to family and friends who made
the regular visits during her time of illness. A special
thank you to close friends, June and Steven Holder for their frequent
visits and superb meals and treats. Your kindness and
compassion is profoundly appreciated and will not be
forgotten.
A
visitation will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540
Woodstock Road, Fredericton, NB, on Thursday June
23rd from 6-8 PM. A celebration of
Heather’s life will be held from Bishop’s Funeral
Home Chapel on Friday June 24th at 11 AM with
Rev. Dr Ross Hebb officiating. Interment will follow at
Dunphy’s Island View Cemetery.
Honorary
pallbearers will include Craig Maranda, Travis Muxworthy, Brian
Lofstrom, Romeo LeBlanc, Peter Cusack and Brayden
Maranda.
Donations in Heather’s name may be
made to the NB Lung association or a charity of the donor’s
choice.
