Breadman, Harry George 1939 – 2022
Passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side on the evening of Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the age of 83. Forever loved and missed by his beloved wife of almost 60 years Joyce (nee Hodgins). Loving father of Glenn (Kimberley) and Greg (Caroline). Cherished grandfather of Kenny, Brianna, Devon and Derek. Dear brother of Margaret Page (Russell), Jean Keenan (John), Murray Breadman (Bev) and Bob Breadman (Jenny). Missed by his brother’s-in-law Don Hodgins, John Hodgins (Cecilia), Ken Hodgins, Bob Hodgins and predeceased by his sister-in law Pat Drake. Harry will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Harry work at W.S. Tyler for 38 years retiring in 2002. He loved people, dogs, cats, bananas and MacDonald’s. He also enjoyed a good Tim Hortons coffee with friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Jennifer Rycroft and the Palliative Care Team for the care and compassion Harry received while in their care.
In keeping with Harry’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family will gather for a graveside service on a later date at Queen’s Lawn Cemetery in Grimsby. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of one’s choice.
