Harold’s Obituary
Long time resident of Manning, Alberta passed away on August 27, 2022 at the Manning Community Health Centre at the age of 90 years.
Harold was born on July 27, 1932 in Peace River Alberta.
Harold worked hard every day at many occupations including farming, gravel hauling, bee keeping, guiding, trapping, slashing and beaver control. He finally retired at the age of 71, but would have continued on working had it not been for a knee issue.
Harold loved the outdoors and it was very apparent in his hobbies and interests. Some of the things he enjoyed most were raising and racing his thoroughbred horses. Hunting, fishing, tending to his huge garden and helping to look after the beautiful yard.
Harold was predeceased by his parents Steve and Jessie Dzaman, in-laws Ed and Doris Sharp, son-in-law Cleve Schoendorfer, and grandchildren Candi Keown and Kyle Schoendorfer.
He is survived by his loving wife of 70+ years, Paddy. Children Bruce (Elizabeth), Sandy (Budson) Davidson, Curt (Mary), and Lori Schoendorfer. Brothers Jack (Gail), Wayne (Martha) and brother-in-law Dean Sharp. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life for the late Harold Dzaman will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at 3pm at Hotchkiss Hall.
