Geraldine was born to Stewart and Ida Collins on January 12th, 1957.
She moved to Wabush in 1992 and started to work at Wabush Hotel. There Geraldine met the love of her life, Johnny McGregor. She worked until May 2014 after being diagnosed with Cancer; this caused her not to be able to continue to work at a job she loved.
Geraldine was blessed with one daughter, Dawn (Craig) and two handsome grandsons, Austin and Patrick who loved their nanny dearly.
Geraldine loved to do karaoke, spending time with friends, cooking and baking. Especially her favorite fudge! She touched the lives of everyone who met her; she was always kind and generous.
She will be sadly missed by all who loved and knew her!
She leaves to mourn:
Spouse: Johnny McGregor, Daughter – Dawn (Craig), Grandsons – Austin & Patrick.
Siblings: Sisters – Nellie (Kevin), Susanna (Dennis), Kim (Mike), Sister in Law Yvonne.
Brothers – Samuel (Tracy), Engwell (Peggy), Lester (Laura), Cluney (Beverly), Perry (Corrina), Dennis (Karen), Rod (Darlene)
Predeceased by: Parents – Stewart and Ida Collins
Brother – Henry
Remains entrusted to Oram’s Funeral Home Dover
Visitation Sunday February 13, 2022 from 2 -4 pm and 7-9 pm
