Gerald ‘Auger’ Arnold McGuire
1960-2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald A.
«Auger» McGuire, resident of Chetwynd, British Columbia and
formerly of Nackawic, NB, on Friday, September 30, 2022, at the age of
61 years.
Gerald was born on Monday, December 12, 1960, in Woodstock, NB, to
parents Corbett and Marie (Marston) McGuire. He was one of seven
children.
Gerald is survived by his partner Kim Fitzgerald; sons Corbett McGuire
and Brandon (Paige) McGuire of Grande Prairie, AB; a dear grandson
Dallas McGuire of Grande Prairie, AB; siblings Linda (Claude) Richard
of Moncton, NB, Barbara (Barry) Anderson of St John, NB, Brenda
LaPointe of Hunter River, PEI, Lloyd (Donna Lee) McGuire of
Fredericton, NB, Jane (Chris) Diduch of Fredericton, NB; and the
mother of his children, Denise Young McGuire of Nackawic, NB; as well
as many extended family and friends.
Gerald was predeceased by his parents; his brother Harold William
McGuire; and brother in-law Ray LaPointe.
Gerald will be greatly missed by his many friends and co-workers not
only in Chetwynd, but in New Brunswick as well.
A Celebration of Life for Gerald and Harold will be held at The
Waterfront Pub, 748 Route 105, Nackawic, NB on Saturday, October 22,
2022 from 1 until 4 p.m. Interment will be later at Otis Cemetery.
For those whose who wish to make a donation in memory of Gerald, the
family has suggested the Otis Cemetery.
