MOLLICA, Genesio ‘Gino’ – Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Tuesday December 27, 2022 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of 57 years to Luciana (DeVellis) Mollica. Dearly loved father of Domenico (Lisa) Mollica and Claudio Mollica (Kim). Cherished Nonno of Adriano (Mary Elizabeth), Olivia and Dante and Bisnonno of Julian. Dear brother of Rita (Rodilio) Recine and Bruno Mollica. Dear brother-in-law of George Guglielmi. Predeceased by his brother-in-law John and his wife Ascenza Mollica, his sister Ida Guglielmi, his brother-in-law Joe DeVellis and his sister-in-law Filomena Mollica. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Thursday December 28, 2022 from 2 to 6 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 11 am at Our Lady of the Scapular Church. The Rite of Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum. In memory of Mr. Mollica, donations to Project Share (financial contributions or gift baskets can be dropped off at the funeral home) would be appreciated by his family.
