Obituary for
Francis Lubomsky
December 9, 1936 – May 24, 2022
Francis Lubomsky, formerly of Waskatenau, AB passed away peacefully in her sleep at 8:20 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at the age of 85 years following a courageous battle with cancer and heart problems.
Francis is predeceased by her sister, Emily; her parents, Emil and Annie Barabash; brother, Charlie Barabash; husband, John; and special cousin/sister, Jean Fedun. She is survived by her loving sons, Teddy and Willie; special daughters, Debbie Balan and Kim Osadchuk; her cats, Jackie and Snowball; special niece, Vicky Witwicki; as well as numerous friends and relatives.
The family would like to thank the staff at the University of Alberta Hospital, the Leduc Community Hospital and the Edmonton General Continuing Care Centre for the fabulous care and attention they provided for Francis.
A visitation will be held Monday, May 30, 2022, from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Edmonton Humane Society because of Francis’s love for all nature and animals.
