MAJOR, Francis Peter
Francis Major died unexpectedly, at his farm in Chisholm, on Thursday, June 9, 2022. He was 66 years old. Francis was the beloved husband of Susan (Dockendorff) of Chisholm; much-loved father of Andrea Fillier (William) of North Bay and Tyler Boehme (Alison) of Hamilton; and adored grandfather of Kiefer, Tavin and Zoe. Francis was the dear brother of Joseph (Linda) of Sundridge and twin brother of Helen of Magnetawan. After retiring from his career as an electrician, Francis enjoyed farming his property in Chisholm. Cremation has taken place. The Major family will receive visitors at Chisholm United Church on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A memorial service will be held in the church on Saturday, June 18 at 2:00 pm. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association or Chisholm United Church are suggested.
