Eva Ens
November 14, 1949 – August 27, 2022
Eva Ens (née Peters) of Sherwood Park, Alberta, (formerly of Saskatoon, (SK), passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family at the age of 72. She will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband of fifty years, Gerald; her children, Barrett (Kirsten) Ens, Sheldon (Gail) Ens, Lois (Rob) Friesen; seven grandchildren, Amy (Michael) Horner, Katherine (Elijah) Wallace, Richard (Amanda) Ens, Austin (Natasha) Friesen, Lucas (Julia) Friesen, Madison (Mark) Horner, Jackson Ens; and nine great-grandchildren. Mom came from a large family with eight brothers and sisters, sixteen half-brothers and sisters, and one stepbrother. She was predeceased by her father Peter D. Peters 1976; and her mother Judith in 1982; and siblings Dan, Sarah, and Bill, fifteen half-brothers and sisters, and one stepbrother. A public graveside service will be held on Friday, September 2nd, 11:00am, at South Haven Cemetery; 5004 Meridian Street NW, Edmonton, AB. In lieu of floral tributes, memorial donations may be made to Youth Development Centre, Box 3090, Sherwood Park, AB, T8H 2T1.
