Peacefully, on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, in her ninety-first year. Devoted wife and soulmate of the late Jidel (Louis) Baum. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Bella and Howard Smith, David Baum and Andrea Davis, and the late Henri Baum (Ellie). Adored Bubbie of Brandon Smith and Vanessa Azoulay, Jennifer Smith and Corey Krakower; Noah Baum; Tyler, Liam and Rylan Baum. Proud great-grandmother of Liv and Layla Krakower. Esther will be sadly missed by her family and all those whose lives she touched. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of St. Mary’s Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, July 21 at 11:30 a.m. Burial at the ‘Les amis de France et de Bélgique’ Section, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Duvernay.
