Elizabeth “Betti” Ann Elliott (Fowlow) (1955-2022)
Peacefully on May 20, 2022 at the age of 66. Betti made her final journey surrounded by the love of her adoring family following a courageous battle with cancer.
Predeceased by her parents George and Wilhelmina Fowlow and parents-in-law Claude and Jessie Elliott.
Left to mourn is her husband, Keith, of 44 years. Together they created a lifetime of beautiful memories.
She was a loving and devoted Mom to her son, Ken and daughter-in-law, Nikyla, and her beloved daughter, Heather.
To her three cherished grandchildren, Shaefer, Briar and Barrett, she was the most amazing Nanny and her devotion was never more clear than when she left her home in Newfoundland to savour every moment with them in Ottawa.
She will be missed by her siblings Rosalind (Greg) Kelly, Barbara (Terry) Tucker, Brad Fowlow, Trevor (Darlene) Fowlow, and special niece Trish. She will also be missed by brothers-in-law Gary (Eileen) Elliott, Claude (Cathy) Elliott and sisters-in-law Debbie (Ray) Woodford and Carolyn (Rex) Roberts.
Betti had many nieces and nephews, extended family, and a large circle of friends who will all miss her dearly.
Her successful and meaningful career at Service Canada had an indelible impact on both her children and daughter-in-law, who not only followed in her footsteps, but proudly work as Public Servants in the same department.
The family will be receiving friends at Stacey’s Funeral Home in Gander on Sunday June 26, 2022 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
Funeral service will take place Monday June 27, 2022 at 2:00 pm at St. Martins Anglican Cathedral.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Betti, while we can’t imagine life without you, we will forever be surrounded by your unconditional love.
