Edison Yerxa Reed
1938-2022
Edison Y. Reed on Fredericton, NB passed away on November 26, 2022 at
Hospice Fredericton. He was born on August 25, 1938 at Maple Ridge,
NB, a son of the late Claude Sterling and Ella Mae (Clark) Reed.
Edison is survived by his children Michael Reed (Margie), Richibucto
Road, NB, Angela MacDonald (Brent), Nashville, TN and Andrew Reed
(Jackie), Upper Kingsclear, NB; six grandchildren Nick Reed (Crystal),
Kyle Reed (Sarah), Meghan Reed, Scott MacDonald (Michal), Barry
MacDonald (Emily) and Cody Reed (Jennifer); eleven great
grandchildren; a brother-in-law Linwood Walker (Linda); several nieces
and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Norma Reed and a sister
Marie Christie (late Ray).
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis
Drive, Nackawic, NB on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 12 noon until
2 pm. A private family burial will take place at Maple Ridge
Cemetery.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Edison, the family
has suggested Hospice Fredericton, Maple Ridge Cemetery or Canadian
Cancer Society.
The family wishes to thank the staff of DECH 3 Southwest, Hospice
Fredericton and Dr. Anaan for the excellent care provided for their
father and his family.
