Obituary of Earl Davis
DAVIS, R. Earl – Earl passed away peacefully at home in Ottawa, ON (formerly of Beamsville, ON), into the presence of his Lord and Saviour on July 29, 2022 in his 89th year.
Long-time passionate pedal steel guitarist. Loving husband of 61 years to Dorothy (nee Groff) and father of Deborah Davis, Adele (Blake) Edwards, Barb (Mark) Merriman, Lloyd Davis, Darlene Davis. Grandfather of Brittany (Keith) Merriman Went, Courtney Merriman, Mark Merriman, Jasmine (Dylan) Stanley, Catherine Edwards. Great grandfather of Kaeley. Brother of Stella Dalziel. Predeceased by parents Raymond and Florence (nee Colquhoun) Davis; brothers Harold, Morley, Hugh, David, Bert, Lloyd; sisters Margaret, Doris and twin sister Evelyn. Fondly remembered by many brother/sister in laws, nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends at Tallman Funeral Home, 3277 King Street, Vineland, ON Friday August 5, 2022 , 11:00 to 1 PM, followed by refreshments in the Fireside Room. Private graveside service will take place prior to the visitation.
