Obituary for
Dorothy Hodgkinson
It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our Mom and Nana, Dorothy Hodgkinson, on April 12, 2022, at the age of 89 years. Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Olea (Daryl) and Darla (Rob); granddaughters, Kyrstyn (Gabe) and Tori (Mike); great-grandbabies, Lincoln, Amara, Adira and Estelle; numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends whom Dorothy considered family.
Dorothy is predeceased by her beloved husband, Harry; brothers, Lewis (Helen), Bill (Mary) and Joe (Yvonne); sisters, Alice (Bill) Kother, Shirley (Bill) Marston, and Berta (Bill) Tulloch.
Thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Mayerthorpe Healthcare Centre who provided such wonderful care and comfort to mom and our family.
Family and friends are welcome to attend the inurnment at the Mayerthorpe Cemetery on Saturday, April 23 at 1:30 p.m., with an Open House to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, 5111 – 45 Avenue, Mayerthorpe.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to the Mayerthorpe Hospital Auxiliary Association, Box 582, Mayerthorpe, AB, T0E 1N0.
