PEOPLES: Doris Margaret (nee Logan)
Passed away at the P.R.H.C. on Saturday September 17, 2022. Doris Peoples of Norwood in her 92nd year. Doris worked for many years as a Health Care Aid, serving at Sprucehaven Nursing Home in Norwood, Caressant Care in Marmora and retired from Pleasant Meadow Manor in Norwood. She was a life member of the R.C.L. Branch 300 Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Norwood I.O.D.E. for over 25 years. Loving wife of the late Irvin “Bae” Webb (1989) and late Les Peoples (2020). Sadly missed by her children Randy Webb (Cathy) of Norwood, Richard Webb (Brenda) of Norwood, Meri-Lynn Shaw of Norwood, Kathi-Ann Galle (Joe) of Toronto, Lori-Ellen Ellis (Lyle) of Havelock, Rodger Webb (Lisa) of Norwood and Meda Foss (Keith) of Norwood. Dear grandmother of Brandon Webb (Shannon), Kayla Spooner (Tyler), Shannon Lewis (Tommy), Erin Sawyer (Derek), Cody Shaw (Brittany), Katy Shaw, Biagio Galle (Jen), Joseph Galle (Karla), Roberto Galle (Alex), Susan Duffy (Brock), Karen-Lee Ellis (Charlie Pedersen), Stephanie Ellis (Brad), JJ Searle, Scott Foss and great grandmother of Felicity, Jordan, Dylan, Colton, Cruz, Cameron, Reese, Hudson, Brennan, Sutton, Mara, Alexa, Blakelee, Leo, Lorenzo, Giuseppe, Wyatt, Hamish, Henning, Dakota, Brody, Brooklyn and Preston. Also missed by her dear friend Anne Carlow. Predeceased by her parents Isaac and Katy Logan and granddaughters Candice Webb and Lori Foss. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL, 36 Queen Street, Norwood, on Wednesday September 21, 2022, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday September 22, 2022 at 1:00 PM. Interment, Asphodel-Norwood Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Millennium Room at Norwood Community Centre.
