It is with great sadness that we announce that Donna Hope McNeil-Merten left us peacefully on October 28, 2022. She was in her 77th year.
She loved to share many fond memories of times spent with family and her her siblings. She lived life to the fullest and loved with all of her heart.
Donna is predeceased by her oldest brother Bruce, her sister Shirley, her sister-in-law Toni and her brother-in-law Gerry. She also leaves behind her other siblings, and their spouses, Valerie, Al, Gord, Bernice, Donald and Sandy, Katherine and Wayne. As well as many nieces and nephews and theirs families.
One of Donna’s favourite titles was Mom to her boys Michael and Jamie and her daughter-in-law Sue. The «crown jewels» of her family were her grandsons Nathan and Brayden. She loved her time caring for them when they were young and watching tv and laughing together in her later years.
Donna was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all.
According to Donna’s final wishes, no visitation or service will occur. If desired, a memorial donation can be made in Donna’s honour to Matthews House Hospice in Alliston.
