PURCELL, Donald George –
Suddenly entered into rest at his home, on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, Don Purcell of The Wellings, formerly of Milford died at the age of 92. He was the son of the late George & Ellen Purcell (nee Winterburn) and he was the cherished husband for 67 years of Margaret (nee Oliver). Don was the loving father of Donna Purcell, Gord (Val) and Catherine Reeder (Shayne) all of Wellington. He was the dearest grandfather of Joshua Thorne (Jake) of Calgary. Don is survived by his sister Lillian Marsden (late Don) of Oro-Medonte and will be remembered by his nieces.
Mr. Purcell rested at the Rushnell Funeral Home – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street, (613-476-2450). In keeping with Don’ wishes, there will be no services, cremation has taken place. If desired, donations to the Storehouse – Wellington & District Foodbank (by cheque only) would be appreciated by the family.
